We had a wonderful time at this wonderful hotel run by wonderful people! From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, helpful, warm, accomodating. The people associated with the hotel are gracious and warm: they are a credit to the Turkish people and to the human race! Plus, the location was perfect: near the water and within walking distance of all major attractions. And another plus is Istanbul itself: an ecclectic, energized city and people! We have traveled in many other countries and Turkey and Istanbul have an extra something special...

We stayed at Acropol after renovation and it was excellent in every way possible, the location, staff, food, the neat and new rooms were great. Free Turkish Hamam was fantastic experience at the spa floor. We had an amazing view from our room and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the historical part of Istanbul.

First of all, I want tell my special thanks to all staff. They are very kind and helpful. The hotel is fantastic, location is great. Open buffet breakfast was the best.New spa facilities hamam and sauna great. The Rooms are very smart and very clean. Location is very safe and hotel is very close to all attractions. I recommend this hotel all friends.

We spent Easter in Istanbul and had a great time. The stay was made all that more pleasant by the wonderful staff at Acropol. They made us feel so welcome and treated us like family. We were travelling with a 2year toddler and it was amazing how attentive they were to us. I would certainly be coming back to Acropol.

I was in Istanbul in Dec 2009 for a vacation and stayed at this hotel. I had a great time, the staff were very courteous and helpful. They were very friendly and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean to my expectation. They arranged a boat tour which was one of the highlights of the trip. The most important was the location of the hotel which was close to all the attractions. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Karnacki
