Due to mine and my wife's busy work schedules this thank is very late. We had a lovely holiday at your Hotel this past May for two weeks (May 5 thru 19/07)
You have to be congratulated for having such a super Hotel and staff! From the moment we arrived at your Hotel we were so well looked after it was like a second home. We would like to commend Serkan who is such a hard worker and super person. >From the time he picked us up at the airport and throughout our holiday he was always so helpfull and such a gentleman. Also Derya who welcomed us and also assisted us in changing our room to one at the front of the Hotel with a lovely balcony.
Again all of your front desk managing staff were always there with a smile and very professional administration and help. The breakfasts we enjoyed for two weeks were like being in heaven the food and service were second to none. Your staff both at the breakfast room and rooftop restaurant and bar were great!
We look forward to travelling back to Turkey next year and would love to stay at the Hotel Acropol again. Till next year thank you and your staff, see you then.

I do like to tell you about my
experiences at the Best Western Acropol Hotel in SultanAhmet. I have been there
in 2007 in March, July and next Saturday, the 18th of August I go again. The
beautiful reconstructed 19th Century Ottoman Hotel was a great experience. I
like to thank Mister Hasan Gülkaynak, the General Manager, and his staff for
their great service, enthusiasm and the way they made me feel at home. The roof
restaurant is great and the view over Istanbul is spectacular and sensational.
I realised the staff of the Hotel
Acropol is doing everything in their power to give the guest(s) a great time. I
did enjoy the delicious meals prepared by the people in the kitchen. I like to
give a compliment to the staff of the kitchen. I will never forget the people
of the Acropol Hotel. The Acropol Hotel is an eye catcher in the Akbiyik
Caddessi and I do love the streat with all her beautiful colours, the people
and the historical buildings. I have great respect for the people because they
make long hours to please the quests.
The Old City or SultanAhmet is
beautiful. I was very impressed by the many monuments and buildings. It felt
like one big museum. I love the idea that the Old City will be the Cultural
City of the World in 2010. SultanAhmet, Istanbul and Turkey were a great
experience for me and many times I had the feeling to walk through history.
Once again I thank Mister Hasan
Gülkaynak and his staff. I also thank all those people in SultanAhmet for their
stories and their information. I write a book about the silence force of
SultanAhmet and I want you all to be sure that your stories will be remembered
in the book. You all will have a place in my heart.

We had a lovely time. As per my
discussion with Hasan I will be giving feedback to Best Western.
The group was delighted with the
location, the quality of the rooms and the renovations and architecture.
Your staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The internet was a great
feature and we enjoyed not only the quality of the food both at the street
level cafe and the terrace, but also the attentive and helpful service.
The staff were most accomodating for special requests and out of the ordinary
questions. In addition, we all felt that Hasan was trying to anticipate
the needs of his guests at each step. As we visited during the World Cup
semi-finals and finals, it was particularly nice that while we were located on
a lively and vibrant street just a few steps from both the Blue Mosque
(Sultanahmet) and the Hagia Sophia, the rooms remained quiet even during the
celebrations of Italia's victory.
Many thanks and you can be assured that
I will book the Acropol for my next personal trip to Istanbul as well as any
groups I may have traveling to Turkey.
